To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Student Assistant (m/f/d).

If you are willing to learn and eager to apply your passion for science in a commercial environment, this position is perfect for you! We are looking for a working student who is motivated and excited to learn how to use his/her scientific knowledge to help customers better understand Biotype's contract development and manufacturing services and technologies.

This Role is Perfect for You if:

• You love science and have a deep understanding of various scientific topics (especially molecular biology and diagnostics)
• You are enthusiastic about communicating science to diverse audiences and to learn about the possibilities of customer-focused digital marketing
• You have self-motivation and discipline to learn new skills quickly

Your Tasks

• Support our Sales team to create customer targeted communication material
• Research, write, and edit clear, accurate, and creative content for custom solutions department services
• Create content for communication material including but not limited to slide decks, web-based content, infographics, abstracts, posters, newsletters, manuscripts
• Lead and coordinate key projects and represent the company as well as the product lines at congresses, webinars etc.
• Support the social media and email marketing campaigns of Custom Solutions

Your Profile

• Matriculated Student (m/f/d) of biology, biotechnology, medicine or other relevant fields
• Highly refined written and verbal communication skills in English
• Excellent research capabilities and a strong aptitude for learning
• Ability to identify data sources, assess and validate data quality, and determine the most effective means of presenting information
• Basic understanding of social/digital communications techniques and trends
• Ability to adapt content based on the audience and the medium (social media and other communication channels)
• Knowledge of software (Photoshop, PowerPoint) to support professional graphics development and social media content is an asset
• Interpersonal skills to effectively work with other team members
• Strong presentation skills
