To strengthen our team Instrument Service, we are looking for a Service Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Our proprietary MODAPLEX device platform combines capillary gel electrophoresis and PCR technology in one analyzer for medical diagnostics in which you will be specialized in
• After extensive training, you will independently carry out installation, maintenance, repair and fault analyses of our MODAPLEX analysis platform at our customers' premises
• You will also be responsible for maintaining our in-house equipment and systems
• You actively help to shape the continuous improvement of our service processes and thus experience self-efficacy in a lively working environment

Your profile

• You have completed a technical or biological apprenticeship or have a technical or biological degree
• Ideally you have 1 year of work experience in device service in a laboratory environment, career starters and career changers are welcome
• Practical experience in working with optics, electronics and fluidics is a plus
• Confident handling of MS Office and knowledge of English complete your profile
• You are willing to travel 3-5 days a week, usually without working weekends. The total travelling time is approx. 50%.
• A class B driving license is required
• You are a communicative, flexible and resilient person with a strong service mentality
• You enjoy customer-oriented work and have an independent, structured and results-orientated way of working
• Your strong interest in professional development and your hands-on mentality characterize you as a problem solver
