To strengthen our team Software & Data, we are looking for a Data Scientist (m/f/d).

Your tasks

• Collection, cleansing, processing and analysis of large amounts of data
• Development and integration of new software applications and interfaces in the field of molecular diagnostics and production optimization
• Development of own data models with machine learning technologies and methods in Python
• Provision of findings and recommendations for action to improve the algorithmic efficiency and scalability of existing analysis methods and algorithms
• Close cooperation with the specialist departments, e.g. assay development and instrument service

Your Profile

• Master´s/Diploma degree (M.Sc./Dipl.) in natural sciences
• Very good knowledge of the Python programming language and basic knowledge of Java, Bash scripting, PowerShell and R
• Familiarity with biological data sources and technologies as well as device technology
• Enjoyment of interdisciplinary team and project work
• Independent working style and strong analytical and conceptual skills
