Timely identification of actionable targets in acute myeloid leukaemia
We presented a poster written in collaboration between the University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus, Dr Anke Weber, and Dr Matthias Preussler titled "A new multiplex PCR tool enabled timely identification of actionable targets for molecular-guided therapy in patients with acute myeloid leukemia" during this year's EHA2023 congress in Frankfurt.
The study aimed to develop multiplex PCR assays that simultaneously detected gene fusions and mutations relevant to the ELN guideline, resulting in faster results compared to NGS or conventional Sanger sequencing.
